This, the first full length album by Burialkult, was intended to be recorded with a style and sound firmly rooted in the spirit of the 80’s. A leap forward. Raw, unholy and uncompromising is how the album is described by Phlegathon. Unlike the "Evil Antichrist Hordes" 7"EP (Blood Harvest) that was more black death; "A Call From Beyond The Grave" has a dirtier Rock 'n' Roll vibe with grim Black Metal atmosphere and frost bitten tone.
For fans of primitive rock and roll influenced black metal; this album is for you!
